Undoubtedly one of the prettiest parts of the Balearic Islands, Ibiza has much to offer the visitor and is far more diverse than you might think. It is true that Ibiza Town can be outrageous, and the fashion parades of Friday and Saturday evenings are good fun to behold . The beachside resort of San Antonio is the nightlife capital of the Med, and plays host to some of Europe’s best DJ's with it's legendary club nights definitely not the location for the shy and retiring! But for the non-clubber, Ibiza also offers so much more, with superb family resorts to the north and east, each presenting a total contrast to their lively neighbors. Even the coastline offers incredible variety, from the long sandy beaches of Playa d'en Bossa in the south to the rocky coves and crystal waters of Portinax in the north. Whatever you want from Ibiza it can surely offer it to you - from peace and relaxation to a fun filled family holiday or a lively clubbing hotspot, the island has it all. Ibiza is just about as diverse an island as you can get - from the weird and wonderful Ibiza Town to its legendary club nights in the lively resort of San Antonio to the quieter North and East sides of the island. Travel into the heart of the island and traditional island-life is still very evident, apparently undisturbed by the arrival of tourism in Ibiza. Pungent olive groves mix with fragrant orange groves in traditional fishing villages and there are many fine and safe beaches to relax on. There is a huge range of accommodation to be found on the island from very simple to luxury 5 star hotels - whatever you need Ibiza can offer it. |
